Important Information

Our intention is to create the safest possible environment for practicing at the studio. Our class policy and procedures are in line with UK Active and the recent government guidelines.

During the period that we transition back to normal, we'll rely on your support to help smooth the flow of traffic, including pre-booking requirements, temporary social distancing protocols and quick in and out times until rules are relaxed.

Please read below to find out more details on protocols, unfreezing memberships, class schedule, membership offers and more.

It is very important that you read these guidelines before coming to class.

1. CLASS SCHEDULE

Number of classes will gradually increase to a full schedule. It is our aim to recreate the extensive and diverse pre Covid schedule. All our classes in the studio have a limited capacity of 29 people only until restrictions are finally eased. We will have up to half hour gaps between classes, allowing students to leave before next class checking in. We ask our yogis to leave as quickly as possible (within 15 minutes) after your class has ended.

2. BOOKING YOUR CLASSES IN ADVANCE IS ESSENTIAL

  • You will need to book and pay online in advance of attending in order to secure your spot. However, if you forgot to book, we will endeavour to welcome you into class if there are spaces available.

  • As much as possible please purchase account credit online (this can also be done via our website). We will continue to take card payments in the studio for additional items but would prefer if you would pay for your classes and manage your account credit online.

  • If you’re unable to book a class online, you’re welcome to join our waiting list. As waiting list spots will be released, you will be signed into class.

  • Class cancellation policy: Attend your booked class.  Due to the limited number of places, no shows will be counted as such and the class will not be refunded to your account - the class on your package will be forfeited.  For unlimited members who are no shows, we will charge your card stored with £10 cancellation fee and suspend your booking rights for one week.  If the reason for a no show is due to any Covid-like symptoms, your class will be reinstated but you will not be able to book classes for 14 days from the date we are notified.

  • If you aren’t able to attend your booked class, simply cancel your class at least six hours in advance as doing so will open up a valuable spot for another yogi. If you book but do not show or cancel your booking.

 3. AT THE STUDIO

We’ve created some changes to our procedures to help ensure we can all practice in the safest possible environment.

  • As a standard rule, only attend class if you’re in good health. If you’re feeling unwell (even if it’s just a cold), avoid attending until you feel better. You can of course join us Online.

  • When you arrive at the studios, please queue following the government recommended distance. Our studio will open 15 minutes before class.

  • Please bring your own props to avoid using our dumbbellsyoga blocks, Nidra bolsters and yoga belts in the yoga room for the time being. If you must use our equipment, you will be required to clean and sanitise it after use. The cleaning products will be provided.

  • The studio is cashless

    • Packages can be bought online, or you can pre-purchase your next pass at the front desk.

    • You’re welcome to pay for items (e.g. mats, towels, water) using our contactless card machines (no minimum charge). Better yet, buy an Account Credit online on our website on Prices and Buy page.

  • Our studio premises are well ventilated. Extensive filtration system that removes pollutants from the air - such filtration is normally only found in pharmaceutical laboratories.

  • Oxygen control - automatically controlling the amount of fresh air coming in.  So we don't need to open windows which lets in dirty unfiltered air.

  • We will continue our new cleaning regimen between and during classes, including wiping down and sterilising all hand touch surfaces

  • Come dressed in your practice clothes if possible as changing facilities will be in use with very limited capacity (this includes showers). Hopefully these guidelines will change relatively soon - we will keep you notified regarding this. Toilets, lockers and hand washing facilities will be available as usual.

  • Bring a bag for your shoes and any additional clothing layers. All items should be placed in your bag in reception and taken into the studio and placed beside your mat or on the shelf provided by the emergency exit door, to ensure one way traffic policy.

  • Mat rental: We will continue to provide mats but will now charge £2 for this service unless you are on our monthly contract membership, 3/6 month unlimited or annual pass - in which case mats are included. As has always been our practice, our rental mats will be washed down and steamed clean completely after every use.

  • We provide mats and grip towels for sale at the competitive special offer price.

  • EVERYONE MUST use a full mat length towel on their mat at all times. We will still rent towels at £2.50 each and you are always free to bring your own. Towel return will be at the back of the studio near the exit.

  • You can purchase, at a competitive price, full mat length grip yoga towels.

  • Clean your personal space and wipe up ALL sweat before leaving (failure to do so may result in being suspended from attending the studio)

  • If you use tissues take them with you, don’t dispose of them at the studio or leave in the public areas.

  • Place the top edge of your mat across the designated taped line (If using our mats take one from the clean mat rack or use your own mat). This will ensure a 2m distance at all times as spaces have been measured out exactly.

  • After class return your mat (if using ours) to the used mat rack to be disinfected.

  • AFTER CLASS PLEASE AIM TO LEAVE PROMPTLY (WITHIN 15 MINUTES)

  • Once the class you’ve attended has finished, we ask that you kindly depart the premises within 15 minutes to allow plenty of space for the next group of yogis to enter. We will also be closing the studios earlier at the end of the evening for cleaning and would similarly request prompt departure.

  • Finally, be kind to your fellow yogis who may be forgetful of a protocol. We’re all learning and adapting, and a gentle reminder is usually all it takes.

4. UNFREEZING YOUR MEMBERSHIP

Any frozen autopay memberships will be automatically activated when we reopen. We will be working out a schedule for dealing with account balances, so please bear with us as we are still operating on a smaller team as we transition back during the month of August.

All “class cards and Annual upfront” will be extended by up to 4 months at no charge.

Let's practise safely and smart.

Thank you for doing your part.
